The film centers around Hayk Matevosyan, an opera singer, who, however, in recent months can be seen more often not on stage, but in the trenches. An actor in the State Theater of Musical Comedy after Hakob Paronyan, he is a volunteer and participant in the 2016 April War and the 2020 44-day War in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

Nane Petrosyan

Born in 1997 in the village of Verin Tsaghkavan in the Tavush region of Armenia, Nane Petrosyan studied at the local high school, and afterward, in 2015 she was admitted to the Faculty of Journalism of the Yerevan State University. During her studies, she wrote for online periodicals. Since 2020, she has been working in the Radiolur news program of the Armenian Public Radio. The documentary The Artist shot in 2022 is her debut film.
