This documentary film is made in light of the upcoming centenary of the classic of Soviet cinema, Marlen Khutsiev. The film talks about the life, work, and dreams of the master and focuses the viewer’s attention on Marlen Khutsiev’s unique film style – his cinematic language. And through cinematic language, the authors strive to show the personality of the director. Unlike most biographical films, the core of the plot is not the biography, but the search for and analysis of the formation of specific cinematic techniques and, as a result, the various ideas that are present in Khutsiev’s work.
