Inspired by the poem The Horse by Armen-Arkhe Khechumyan painter Alik Assatrian creates a series of canvases dedicated to the 2020 War in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

Ashot Mkrtchyan

Born in 1957, Ashot Mkrtchyan attended the All-Union Institute of Filmmaking (VGIK) in Moscow from 1980 to 1985. From 1985-1999, he worked as a cinematographer at Armenia’s Hayfilm Studio and Hayk Studio of documentary films. In 2000, he founded the company IF (Independent Filmmakers), which continues to produce films to this day.
